Our Mortise and Tenon Style stairway comes fully assembled for less on-the-job assembly. All posts and railings come pre-drilled and pre-assembled so the owner just has to insert railing sections and secure with the hardware we provide. The photos below show just how easy installation is.

Step 1: Hoist stairs into place.

Step 2: Place the stairs so that the top of
the first tread is the distance of an individual
rise to the finished floor above (see arrow).

Step 6: Temporary ground-level footing

Step 7: Attach posts at base of stairway.

Step 8: Plug countersink holes with plugs

Step 9: Attach the first angled stair rail

Step 10: Attach the rail to the post

Step 11: Sometimes the railing ends need to be cut on site. Grind the ends until they are smooth.

Step 12: Attach railings on side two.
